In drilling operations, the stability of drilling fluid circulation and the effectiveness of solids control directly affect drilling efficiency, equipment service life, and overall operating costs.
For this project, our company provided a complete solids control system solution tailored to the client’s drilling conditions. From equipment design and manufacturing to transportation, on-site installation, and commissioning, we completed the delivery of the entire system as an integrated package.

The drilling site presented relatively complex working conditions and required a solids control system with reliable continuous operation, high processing efficiency, and strong site adaptability.
On the one hand, drill cuttings and drilling mud generated during drilling needed to be separated and processed in time to ensure that the drilling fluid could be reused in circulation. On the other hand, the system also needed to be convenient for transportation, installation, and future maintenance, without affecting on-site operating efficiency.
To meet these requirements, the whole system adopted a modular design, integrating mud tanks, solids control equipment, transfer pipelines, pumps, and operation platforms into a unified layout.

The system consists of multiple mud tanks and supporting solids control equipment. Depending on drilling conditions, it can be configured with shale shakers, desanders, desilters, vacuum degassers, centrifuges, sand pumps, shear pumps, and drilling fluid circulation pipelines.
The equipment is centrally installed on the upper operating platform of the mud tanks, making daily operation, inspection, and maintenance more convenient.
All tanks are connected through a pipeline system, allowing the drilling fluid to flow continuously through the required treatment stages for purification, circulation, and storage.

To reduce field installation time, the system was manufactured and pre-assembled in our workshop before delivery.
Mud tanks, operating platforms, safety railings, and major equipment were assembled as complete modules before shipment. This allowed us to verify equipment layout, connection positions, and installation compatibility in advance.
With this modular manufacturing approach, once the equipment arrived at the drilling site, it could be installed and connected much faster, significantly shortening the construction schedule.

Considering the overall size of the solids control system, the project adopted a modular transportation solution.
Mud tanks and key equipment were shipped in transportable sections while maintaining structural integrity and reducing the difficulty of large-scale transportation and lifting.
After arriving at the project site, the modules were positioned, connected, and commissioned according to the system design plan.

After delivery to the drilling site, the solids control system was arranged according to the drilling rig position and site conditions.
Once the mud tanks, solids control equipment, and drilling fluid circulation pipelines were connected, the complete system was put into operation, providing continuous and stable drilling fluid treatment and circulation support for the drilling project.
Based on on-site performance, the modular solids control system not only met the drilling fluid processing requirements, but also improved equipment management, maintenance convenience, and future relocation efficiency.

The value of a solids control system does not depend only on the performance of a single machine.
From mud tank design and equipment selection to pipeline layout, transportation planning, and on-site installation, every step affects the final operating performance of the system.
Through modular design and integrated manufacturing, our company is able to provide customized solids control solutions based on different drilling rigs, drilling fluid systems, and field conditions, delivering a complete solution from equipment manufacturing to on-site application.
